From the audience.
To the stage.

A live, connected experience
for on-device AI.

The experience

A keynote you could take part in.

For Qualcomm’s SXSW keynote, the Left Field Labs team brought the vision for on-device AI into the hands of the audience. Attendees joined through a QR code, submitted questions and watched responses unfold on stage using Qualcomm’s Edge AI.

The interaction connected two very different scales: the phone in your hand and the screen shared by the room.

02

Ask.

Participate from a personal device.

03

See.

Follow the response on the keynote screen.

Mobile + stage

One visual language.
From hand to room.

The supplied motion sequences show how the same scenario adapts to a portrait mobile screen and a wide stage canvas. The furniture discovery sequence pairs a familiar setting with a distinctive visual focus.

Live experience

The audience is part of the picture.

Beyond the design exports, the event photographs show the experience being used across phones and tablets. A shared stage moment becomes something personal, held and followed from a seat in the room.

Project information

Technology understood. Through participation.

The problem

Make on-device AI tangible.

For Qualcomm’s SXSW keynote, the challenge was to bring a technical vision into a live room. The experience needed to make the idea understandable through something the audience could take part in.

The solution

Connect the seat to the stage.

The Left Field Labs team designed a live interaction in which attendees joined through a QR code, submitted questions and saw responses on stage using Qualcomm’s Edge AI. Personal devices became part of the keynote experience.

Our approach

One experience. Two scales.

Mobile interfaces and stage motion were designed as parts of the same sequence. A clear visual hierarchy connected intimate, handheld interactions with imagery built to be read across the room.
